Hey 2002 Kenya Team!

Can you believe it's been over 17 years since we all served together at the Ngala School for the Deaf in Nakuru? It was a memorable year for me. I volunteered at Boys and Girls Club for my local service. That experience left a deep impression on me that still influences my life today. How about you?

I wanted to let you know that Youthlinc has purchased an acre of land in Murray and will be breaking ground to build a new headquarters in Spring 2020!

To help make this new building a reality, I've increased our team goal to raise $750 by December 31st so we can get a small paver with our "2002 Kenya Team" engraved on it. If we each contribute $20 we can make it in no time.

You should also know that just for this holiday giving campaign, any alumni who personally gives $250 or fundraises that amount from family, friends, neighbors, will also get a small paver with their name on it (donation for a small paver is normally $500)!

If those amounts are too much for you right now, no problem. Any donation will help YouthLINC instill volunteerism in new generations to build a connected community here and abroad.

Please invite your parents, family, and friends to give too (just share the URL on social media, an email, or text message). Every little bit adds up!

Thanks for making the world a better place,

Cindy Holtom

Team Captain

ABOUT Capital Campaign

Youthlinc has grown steadily for 20 years, widening and deepening our impact in the community. And there is so much more to do.

We've relied on donated office space till just a few years ago. With all our programs, participants, and staff we have reached a place at our 20th anniversary where we need a home of our own - a place that belongs to the thousands of Utah families and young people we've impacted, and a place dedicated to the thousands of lives we will touch in the future.

We are asking our Youthlinc family-all of our program donors, Service Year mentors, alum parents and students who have long recognized Youthlinc's role in creating lifetime humanitarians - and those who are now recognizing our impact in this state - to dig deep and partner with us in this efforts. Youthlinc is a 501c3. Your donations are tax deductible. For more info visit www.youthlinc.org/capitalcampaign
